Diani House is the treasured holiday home of the Archer family - John and Lulu (Archer) Clark have welcomed guests into Diani House since 1989. Now living at Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley, John and Lulu now spend less time at Diani House than they used to, although Lulu comes down on a regular basis to oversee things. John is a busy professional safari guide, and between them they arrange tailor-made safaris round Kenya.
The staff team ...
The staff team is an important element of a holiday at Diani House - whether it is Nico preparing delicious food or Ali serving it with charm and style; Joseph or Boniface cheerfully cleaning the rooms and washing mountains of laundry, or Saidi and Sulemani cutting the grass, collecting coconuts or arranging sun beds in the garden.
Maggie is a cheerful presence in the office; while managing the admin of the house she is also happy to assist guests with arranging excursions, reconfirming flight bookings or dealing with any other requests they may have.
Nico (chef), Ali (waiter), Joseph (rooms) and Boniface (laundry) have participated in high-profile training courses in their respective areas, operated by Utalii College. This professional training is an invaluable addition to the experience they have gained from working at Diani House and we hope to be able to send the remaining staff on equivalent courses this year.
